Gen AI Policy
Purpose
XNODE INC. recognizes the transformative potential of AI in enhancing efficiency and productivity. We are committed to harnessing AI’s capabilities responsibly, ensuring that its use aligns with our core values and complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This Policy provides clear guidelines for using AI in a manner that safeguards our sensitive information and upholds our commitment to transparency, accuracy, and security.
Given the rapid advancements in AI technology and machine learning, XNODE INC. will regularly review and update this Policy to reflect new developments, legal changes, and industry best practices.
Scope
This Policy applies to all customers using XNODE INC.’s subscription-based AI services. It outlines the acceptable use of our AI tools, ensuring that customers understand their responsibilities and the boundaries of AI application.
Definitions
- AI – Large language model-based, generative AI applications, such as ChatGPT, Llama, general and narrow AI, and machine learning.
- Company Data – Includes all business information accessed, collected, used, processed, stored, shared, distributed, transferred, disclosed, destroyed, or disposed of by any of xnode’s systems; encompasses proprietary information and intellectual property.
- Customer – Any individual or entity subscribing to XNODE’s AI services.
- Personal Information – Information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can be linked to a particular consumer or household, as defined by applicable privacy laws.
- Sensitive Information – Includes Personal Information, material non-public information as defined by the SEC, passwords, API keys, and other confidential data as defined in XNODE INC.’s agreements and policies.
Policy Statement
Compliance with Legal Requirements
Customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using XNODE INC.’s AI services. This includes, but is not limited to, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, and anti-discrimination laws. For any questions, please contact legal@xnode.ai.
Information Security
The use of XNODE INC.’s tools must adhere to our conditions and information safety policies as may be amended from time to time. Customers should ensure that they do not input Sensitive Information into AI tools unless absolutely necessary and only through secure methods. Multi-factor authentication should be used whenever available.
Human Review
Customers must critically review AI-generated content for accuracy and completeness. Generated content should not be used if it is misleading, harmful, offensive, or discriminatory. Customers are responsible for the content produced with the assistance of AI, as if they were the original creators. When appropriate, disclose the use of AI-generated material.
Safety and Risk Management
To prioritize safety and customer security, as well as security to the XNODE suite of tools and services, we recommend the following practices:
1. Evaluate AI tools before use, considering security, terms of service, and the quality of training data.
2. Opt out of allowing AI tools to use any input data for training their models whenever possible.
3. Never feed Sensitive Information into AI tools.
4. Report any security incidents or suspected breaches immediately to legal@xnode.ai
Incident Management
1. Identify, report, and respond to incidents promptly. In the event of misinformation or bias, Customers may take immediate action by reporting, and identifying the unexpected behavior to legal@xnode.ai with the subject line AI Incident Report.
Please include the date and time, the nature of the issue and any steps you have already taken.
Risk Identification and Mitigation
We recognize the potential risks associated with machine learning, and AI usage, which includes impacts on business operations, security breaches, reputational damage and regulatory scrutiny. To address these, we:
1. Evaluate the risks linked to the deployment of AI technologies.
2. Regularly update risk assessments to stay ahead of emerging threats and challenges.
Bias Control and Compliance
Ensuring fairness and legal compliance, we:
1. Implement measures to detect and mitigate biases in deployment of the XNODE INC. systems
2. Take best efforts to adhere to all relevant laws and regulations to ensure our technology solutions are complaint.
3. Continuously review and improve processes to uphold the highest practical standards of ethical AI use.
Reporting Policy Violations
If you become aware of any improper processing of personal information or any other policy violation, please contact legal@xnode.ai immediately. We assure no retaliation for good faith reporting of policy violations.
Enforcement
Customers who violate this Policy may face suspension or termination of their subscription, along with potential legal actions.
